I’m Jorge A. Rangel-Kimpel, a portrait and event photographer based in Houston, and the heart behind JAR-K Photography.

My work is all about people, their energy, their stories, their connection to the moment. Whether it’s a bold studio shoot, a sweet family session, or a once-in-a-lifetime event, I bring not just my camera, but my full attention and creativity to every experience.

I’m not here to just take photos. I’ll be your planner (style, location, mood), your director (posing and flow), your editor (retouching + final vision), and your creative partner, so you can show up feeling confident and taken care of.

When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll probably find me with my husband Seth and our three dogs: Rex, Rocket, and Rico (they run the house, and we just live in it).

We love road trips, camping under the stars, and making every weekend feel like a little adventure. I’m passionate about living a healthy, full life — one that balances creativity, connection, and intention.
